In this instructional-led on-demand course, learners will define MRI formulas applied in daily practice, understand the concepts surrounding each formula and learn strategies for solving word problems.  This course will not only benefit those preparing to take the MRI registry, but also those in clinical practice. Topics and formulas to be discussed include Precessional Frequency, Slew Rate, Slice Thickness, Pixel Size, Pixel Size Dimensions, Pixel Area, Voxel Size, Voxel Volume, Introduction of Pulse Sequences and Scan Times (spin echo, fast spin-echo, inversion recovery, 2D gradient reversal, and echoplanar imaging). We will also discuss and review how to calculate the available time for Cardiac Imaging.

Each section will include practice problems with explanations. A Certificate of Completion is presented automatically after course completion.
